Our Network of Partners
Healthwatch Sierra Leone unites healthcare organizations, NGOs, educational institutions, and community groups across Sierra Leone, enhancing resource mobilization and sustainable health projects.

Volunteers from around the world contribute skills and resources, from frontline healthcare to administrative and specialized training support, highlighting a collaborative international approach.
What We Do?

Educational Programs and Scholarships:
- Scholarships for aspiring nurses and doctors, providing quality education and practical experience within Sierra Leone and the West African sub-region.
- Collaborations with training institutions to offer advanced training, internships, and exchange programs, increasing the local workforce’s capacity to address health challenges.

Early Reporting and Health Data Collection:
- As the first to report emerging health issues, Healthwatch monitors trends, providing early alerts on outbreaks such as Lassa fever and Ebola.
- A registry of cancer and major health-related deaths is maintained to support data-driven health policies and proactive measures.

Seminars and Workshops:
- Regularly organized seminars and conferences bringing together healthcare experts and policymakers to discuss infectious diseases, maternal health, and preventive healthcare.
- Workshops focus on essential topics like HIV/AIDS, cancer prevention, and diabetes, empowering attendees with health knowledge that benefits entire communities.

Health Campaigns:
- Targeted health campaigns on critical issues, including HIV/AIDS, cancer prevention, diabetes, maternal health, and nutrition.
- Community engagement through interactive sessions and screenings, making health education accessible and actionable.
